As said earlier Ranbir, Deepika starrer ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ helmed by Ayan Mukherjee has turned out to be the biggest weekend grosser of the year so far fetching a fabulous 62 crore net in India.

Opening at 19.5 crore on Friday the movie remained stable at 20 crore on Saturday and jumped to 22.5 crore on Sunday making a total of 62 crores.

The movie has also done a rare feat of entering the US top 10 chart, finding itself at the 9th position after The Great Gatsby. Released in 162 theatres the movie earned 1.6 million dollars (8 crores) also had a decent earning in UK 2.40 crores (till Saturday) and added another 20 lakhs from New Zealand.

Surely Ranbir has now emerged as the new hot favorite at Box Office..
