Holding strongly with good positive word of mouth right from day one UTV Motion Pictures and VB pictures Haider` starring Shahid Kapoor, Tabu K K Menon and Irrfan Khan is set to break even anytime.

Its six day total collection stands at 35.28 crores, needs another 2.72 crore to reach its break even cost of 38 crores and that can happen anytime today.

Haider has performed exceptionally well at high end multiplexes as expected but also the movie has being able to break the myth that good cinema is restricted to metros. Haider` has shown jump in Gujarat, Punjab, CP, CI, Rajasthan as well as in the East the movie also showed improvement in Mysore and Nizam region. Traditional mass belts like Jabalpur also showed encouraging results after a slow start.

Made at a cost of 22 crore plus 16 crore for print and publicity the 38 crore brilliant adaptation of Shakespeare`s masterpiece Hamlet` by the indigenous Indian helmer Vishal Bhardwaj is hailed by industry and the connoisseurs of art and meaningful cinema as nothing sort of a masterpiece.

The undying faith of UTV in Vishal Bhardwaj and Shahid Kapoor post Kaminey` has swollen by years so is the number of evolved audience in India ensuring and encouraging patrons to make Haider` reach its first destination (break even).

Vishal Bhardwaj third trilogy to Shakespeare is certainly not a tragedy at the box office as said by some cynics who cannot think beyond cliché norms of entertainment.

Haider` is another example how a good content if rides on smart marketing and distribution techniques achieves both on art and economy.
