Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Jodhaa Akbar which has been postponed from October 12th to January 25th will finally see light on February 15th. Ashutosh has confirmed that the delay has not been due to a particular actor or technical aspect but due to the sheer magnitude and canvas of such a film.

Ashu states, “Every actor gave 100%..... when I gave 200%, my back hurt”. At the spectacular music launch of Jodhaa Akbar , Ashu was grateful to Hrithik and Ash for their grit and determination throughout the film. A clean shaved, smart looking Hrithik in a black suit remarked, “After this project, Ashutosh will be working on his six pack. Jodhaa Akbar took 2 years, wonder how many years this one’s going to take.”

The music release was grandeur with the exclusive preview of 5 songs from the film. The “Azeem-o-shaan Shehanshah “track choreographed by Chinni Prakash carries the theme of the film. After the large number of crowds used in Lagaan, Ashutosh once again proves that he is the king of such enormous crowd sequences. Looks like Ashu’s six pack can wait till Feb.
