Speaking to a newspaper Akshay said "My so-called flop has generated Rs. 45 crores in the weekend. It is the fourth highest, three-day Box Office collection in the history of Bollywood. Besides, I never said this was the greatest film ever made. I told everyone, it is a senseless film, leave your brains at home. I accept it for what it is, I love it for what it is".

The action star also told that he accepted failure and failing is not the scary part, but reading newspapers is what brings out a cold sweat as mistakes can be digested, but regret is something he cannot tolerate.

Accepting failure is the hallmark of a true fighter and supporting the film due to the love with which it was made is also commendable. But Akshay, you talking about the flick cornering Rs.45 crore in the first weekend etc… is equal to saying that money is the only reason for which the films are created.

And, the money grossing records can never be a substitute for the loose ends in 'Chandni Chowk To China' that made the film less entertaining than all your previous successful though not very sensible films.

While saying that he is sorry if people did not like the film, Akshay also expressed a feeling that is produced only by a person in distress. He said that the people should not expect too much from someone as it adds to the existing pressure that actors live with.

But Akshay, the janta hit theatres to take a break from the stressed lives they lead in search of entertainment with lots of hopes pinned up on their favorite stars!
