Here comes another film with the slums of Dharavi as the backdrop. The film is titled ‘Barah Aana’. If you are contemplating whether this film too will show the poverty stricken side of Dharavi the answer is ‘No’. according to the director if the film Raja Menon, He will portray the locality where people belonging to the lower strata like watchmen, clerks, peons and other similar kind of professionals live together in a particular way that cannot be seen anywhere else”.

This film too has a foreign connection with the Italian Giulia Achilli who is the co-producer. The director has pointed out that it was two years ago that Raja Menon met Mr. Achilli at an event called “Italy meets Bollywood”. After hearing the concept of the film, the Italian did not take much time to make up his mind to fund the project.

The film has a time length of 97 minutes and will be released in India on March 20.

‘Barah Aana’ is about the tale of three friends who live in the slum. The dynamic Naseeruddin Shah plays a taxi driver, Arjun Mathur gives life to the character of a waiter and Vijay Raaz will come across as a watchman. All three of them are bogged down by financial difficulties and strive hard to seek a way out.

Like in many stories the watchman played by Vijay Razz wants to take the shortcut shown by crime for a better life.He persuades the other two friends of his to join him to fulfill a dangerous plan. But the going gets tough as soon their expectations backfire and they find themselves in big trouble.
