Her chitter-pitter caught his attention while his composed nature roused her a lot. Her chirpiness complemented his silence. You would have immediately guessed which movie is this! Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Jab We Met’ created a fabulous magic and became an instant hit. Kareena as Geeth and Shahid as Aditya became famous and the movie was loved by young and old alike. Now, a little birdie has said that the movie’s director is thinking of recreating the magic.

Imtiaz confirms, “It’s an idea, yes. What happens to the two characters Geet and Aditya after they’ve met and gone through all those adventures? What happens to them after the story ends in Jab Me Met? I’m asked that question so often that even I’ve started wondering about the future of Geet’s relationship with Aditya after we left them.” But we don’t think so the sequel will be as pleasing as the original as Imtiaz said, “I don’t see a very pleasant togetherness for Geet and Aditya. They’re two such strong-headed individuals, there’s bound to be friction. Maybe Geet will go back to Anshuman (the guy who dumps her)…There’s certainly an element of curiosity for me about where these characters go.”

Imtiaz is excited for his forthcoming Saif-Deepika starrer movie, ‘Love Aaj Kal’ which going to be released on July 31st. The movie took them to different horizons but Imtiaz preferred ‘Jab We Met’ more. “I loved traveling with Geet and Aditya. We traveled by trains to the remotest corners of India. ‘Love Aaj Kal’ took me to three continents. But traveling for ‘Jab We Met’ was another thrill altogether. I think I’d like to do it again,” says the director.

Hmm, well, now we are not pretty sure how this second version will turn out. But one thing can be said. There is nothing like the original, right folks?
