Harishchandrachi Factory to go Rashtrapati Bhawan

The much-acclaimed Marathi film ‘Harishchandrachi Factory’ will be receiving prestigious welcome. The film is officially releasing on 22nd January, and before that it will be first screened in Rashtrapati Bhawan on 16th Jan.

It is reported that the screening of ‘Harishchandrachi Factory’ will be held in President's Estate Auditorium.

This directorial debut of Mumbai-based theatre actor-director Paresh Mokashi, has been India's official entry for the 82nd Academy Awards. Besides this, the film was well received by several important international film festivals and won accolades. Distributed by UTV Motion Pictures,‘Harishchandrachi Factory’ is co-produced by Paprika Media and Mayasabha Production. A biopic of Dadasaheb Phalke, the film is based on the making of India’s first full length feature film made by an unemployed man, Dhundiraj Govind Phalke.

The film features Nandu Madhav, Vibhawari Deshpande, Mohit Gokhale, Atharve Karve, Dilip Joglekar among others in the lead role.
