Adivi Sesh is done with shooting for his directorial debut Karma. Starring himself in the role of the main lead, the film falls in the category of a supernatural thriller. Interestingly, the film has a lot of Hollywoodian connection. Apart from being shot by a US-based cinematographer and music-directed by the technicians of that country, the film has Jade Tailor, an American girl, playing the female lead.

Says Sesh, "The role of Padma is that of a 3rd generation Indo American girl, with a Telugu background. She should be so much more American in her sensibilities. Though Padma speaks Telugu, she is almost detached from her Indian side. As an observer of people, I see that everything from the way we hold a coffee cup to the way we shake hands, differs (albeit in a subtle fashion) from culture to culture. The key was for Padma to be a Telugu speaking girl who looks, sounds and feels American. So, we cast a working Hollywood actress, Jade Tailor in the film. Jade Tailor has a very nice 'Indo American' look, though she's an American. Let me just say this on record, she was an absolutely fantastic Padma!"

Speaking high about the performance of the girl in the movie, the debutante hopes that the film will help her earn recognition in Andhra Pradesh. Well, the entry of an American will be eagerly awaited by the Telugu people.
