A special item 'qawalli' number with Akshay-Salman-Katrina, a newly designed promotional music video with Akshay-Akshaye-Katrina, a sequence involving Anil Kapoor and Twinkle Khanna playing themselves, a train robbery and a lot more - these are some of the many fun elements that have been packaged into Farah Khan's upcoming release 'Tees Maar Khan'.

One still wonders though whether all these highlight sequences would indeed fit into the film. At the end of the day, a film is expected to be a coherent affair and after a while, though an sequence may work in isolation, it may not quite make a similar impression as a part of the package.

"People thought the same when Akshay Kumar shot through his belt for that hilarious sequence in 'Om Shanti Om'. Still, doesn't it stay on to be one of the most memorable sequences from the film? Also, it fitted in totally with the film's context as well", defends a film expert in Farah's favour, "She isn't someone who is a newbie in the industry. She has been around for 20 years with two blockbusters behind it and knows her job. It would be foolhardy to imagine that she would make something incoherent."

He could well be right. After all when a 'Dabangg' - which was basically an array of dozen and a half highlight sequences - could become the second biggest blockbuster in the history of Indian cinema, anything is possible.
