In a few hours from now 'Bhoot Returns' would hit the screens and the results would be there for all to see. While the 3D aspect of the film is USP of this horror thriller, one also looks forward to the comeback of Manisha Koirala.

Also, for Ram Gopal Varma the film would be nothing short of an acid test as its success would mean that he would have something to cheer about loud after the debacle of 'Department'. Meanwhile one looks forward to what the filmmaker has to deliver, more so since it would be three years after 'Agyaat' that he would returning with a horror flick.

"Well, to begin with, 'Agyaat' was not really a horror film. The last horror film which I directed was 'Bhoot' and though there was 'Phoonk' after that, it was more about black magic", says Ramu, "This was there has been near 10 year gap between 'Bhoot' and 'Bhoot Returns'.

Horror is my favourite genre and when I got an opportunity to make the film in 3D, I jumped on it."

However before that he has to fight comparisons with 'Paranormal Activity' which had a similar narrative, if the promos are any indication.

"I think the core aspect of a girl being shot through a spy camera is definitely related to 'Paranormal Activity'. However it was completely shot was in that style whereas in 'Bhoot 3' it is just a small portion which has been shot that way.

That doesn't make the two films similar in any means. I can categorically state that 'Bhoot 3' is not 'Paranormal Activity'", assures Ram Gopal Varma.

'Bhoot Returns' arrives all over this Friday.
