Happy New Year, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah, will hit as many as 6,000 screens worldwide, the most ever, surpassing releases of Dhoom 3 (2013), Kick (2014) and Bang Bang (2014).

Yash Raj Films will be distributing the Red Chillies produced Diwali Bonanaza Happy New Year` in 5,000 (India) in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and 1,000 abroad. With the industries two biggest and powerful names involved in the production and distribution of the year`s most touted entertainer starring the global super star and Indian King of Romance - Shah Rukh Khan, Happy New Year` is tagged with enormous expectations.

Considering King Khan blockbuster box office records on Diwali starting right from Baazigar (1993- SRK first biggest taste to success), the festival of celebrations, entertainment, showmanship and success for Shah Rukh Khan is a never ending phenomenon.
