“Your Place Or Mine.” Well, this done-to-death pickup up line is being made famous by Abhishek Bachchan’s Cell Phone Advertisement that is hogging the Telly Space these days. A Cool-as-a-pineapple Aby saunters towards a couple of pretty-young-things in a pub and passes on his mobile phone discreetly for them to see the suggestive message written with a precision. The girls gush over the sexy looking phone and coo-with-delight: “Thanks.”

A lot is being said about this advert these days. A few of the uncharitable remarks are reserved for Abhishek’s ‘double chin’, ‘the corny one liner’ and some say ‘it is not in good taste’. Well, the kind of persona AB Junior carries, somehow the double chin doesn’t matter in that.

He had a visible paunch in his most memorable performance in ‘Yuva’ but nobody seems to have noticed that. His flirtatious, cool and single status makes him desirable for women. As for the corny one liner: ‘Your place or mine’ then I would say: Grow up guys.

What’s wrong in an oft-used-line that is not vulgar by any margin! You should see the blatantly suggestive advertising in the European countries. They find an excuse to showcase sex in one form or the other all the time.

It seems Abhishek is enjoying the adulation that he is receiving due to the various products he is endorsing these days as we haven’t had a taste of him in a movie this year. First up is Karan Johar’s ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’, followed by ‘Dhoom 2’, Mani Rathnam’s ‘Guru’ and ‘Umrao Jaan’. So, don’t worry girlies you are gonna be seeing a lot of ABhishek in the days to come.

IndiaGlitz says Abhishek Bachchan Rocks! With or without that double chin.
