FANAA was the last big film where Jatin and Lalit came together as co-composers. The music turned out to be a big hit and was a fitting swan song for one of the most successful musical-pairs since the early 90s.

A little later their music was heard in much delayed and a forgettable MERA DIL LEKE DEKHO as well which completely went unnoticed. Jatin and Lalit had split by then and the latter came up with the first strike when he went ahead and signed BABA Films' LIFE MEIN KABHIE KABHIEE.

Unfortunately both the movie and the music were greeted with a cold response by the audience and it seemed that it would be quite some time before one would be able to hear some music from Jatin and Lalit.

Well, the wait may be over earlier than anticipated as Lalit Pandit has been signed for a film called ISHAAN. The film marks the production debut of MOSER BAER who have brought a revolution of sorts in the recent months by launching low priced DVDs and VCDs.

Directed by Anthony D' Souza, the film stars Shreyas Talpade in the title role and boasts of a sensitive subject and treatment. Sayeed Quadri has been roped in for writing the lyrics while Lalit has been entrusted the responsibility of spinning the tunes.
