Rakesh Chaturvedi is bringing up his directorial debut ‘Bolo Raam’ that also brings together an interesting casting.

‘Bolo Raam’, a psychological thriller, features Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri, Padmini Kolhapure and debutant Rishi Bhutani in the lead. Interestingly, Naseeruddin Shah and Padmini Kolhapure who had done ‘Woh Saath Din’ earlier have come together after 26 years. Also Puri and Shah, the veteran friends, have teamed up in this one after a short gap. Said Shah, “It feels great to be working with Padmini after a long gap. We last worked together in ‘Woh Saat Din. Also teaming up with Om after ‘Maqbool’ and ‘Shoot on Sight’ was a nice experience yet again.”

The film revolves around a murder mystery where Raam Kaushik (Rishi) is accused of murdering his mother (Padmini Kolhapure). As Raam has a psychotic disorder, the investigating officer Indrajeet Singh Rathi (Om Puri) finds it difficult to make the silent Raam confess the truth. He approaches a psychiatrist Dr N S Negi (Shah) to help him in solving the case, by making Raam speak up.

The film also has Rajpal Yadav, Govind Namdev and Manoj Pahwa.

‘Bolo Raam’ is produced by Goldy Bhutani under his banner Shree Keshav Films and waiting to its release on 31 December.
