Hmmm... as we all are awed by the magic of the magnificent Rajni in his fabulous ‘Robot’ avatar which is bound to create history in Indian cinema, here we come to know another interesting story behind this Robot’ glory.

Director Shankar in an interview to a popular television channel, had revealed that the antagonist role in ‘Endhiran’ was initially offered to Amitabh Bachchan. However, the actor refused the offer as he felt it would not be accepted by the audience. Moreover, several of Big B’s films in which he had played the negative role bombed at the box office.

Shankar said that when Rajinikanth was told that his dear friend Amitabh Bachchan is being considered for the role, he was happy and encouraged the director to cast him.

Oh how humble the Asian superstar Rajni is….
