Three years after 'Namastey London', Akshay Kumar has been directed by Vipul Shah again who has made three successful films with him earlier - 'Aankhen', 'Waqt' and 'Namastey London'. Though they did work together on 'Singh Is Kinng' in the interim as well, it was Anees Bazmee who was at the helm of affairs as a director. Meanwhile Vipul too went ahead and made 'London Dreams' with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn.

"We share a magical comfort level as actor and director which shows on screen. Shooting with him is always special and it feels like I am home when I am on the sets with Vipul. 'Action Replayy' was no different and once the entire retro idea as well as a new characterisation for me came into play here, I was all for the film," says Akshay.

Given the fact that Akshay went all out to promote 'Actoin Replayy', it seems that there was an emotional reunion of sorts for him when he got back to working with Vipul again in 'Action Replayy'.

"Come on, I can't really get emotional about working with a guy with whom I have dinner with every week", says Akshay who was the first actor to consent to working with Vipul, "We go back a long way ever since he made a transition from theatre to films."
