The fine success of ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’ revived the career of the Deol brothers Sunny and Bobby but there’s one more actor who with his marvelous portray of an obnoxious drunkard Jat in the film received appreciations everywhere.

Yes we are talking of Mukul Dev, the actor is finally getting his dues from Bollywood and in his next the talented actor is geared up to throw another surprise.

Mukul Dev is now all set to play a rural Kutchi in his next film titled ‘Jal’, directed by Girish Malik. The movie is about man versus nature and about how people in the areas of Kutch go to different lengths to reserve their water.

Mukul who drank like a fish in ‘YPD’, is going to play the baddie of sorts, who after finding water in the desert will go against everyone to preserve it.

Shares Mukul, "It is a fresh approach and the film is being shot in the beautiful locales of Kutch. It is good that I do not have to really change my looks from my last film as the rural kutchis are known for their longish hair and beards. A lot of camel chases are being shot and I regret not having taken the camel rides on Juhu beach while they were still legal." (He laughs)
