'Game' has failed at the box office with a mere 10%-15% opening coupled with mostly horrific reviews resulting in death kneel for the film. The release of this Farhan Akhtar-Ritesh Sidhwani film during this season was always a gamble due to clash with first World Cup finals and then 'Thank You'. To add insult to the injury, such disastrous opening didn't help the cause which resulted in a mere 2.5 crores coming over the weekend.

The word of mouth hasn't been as bad as the reviews but the damage is already done. The makers would now quickly want to move on to 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' while Abhishek would start concentrating more on the promotion of 'Dum Maaro Dum'.

On the other hand F.A.L.T.U. is a clear winner with tremendous footfalls on Friday and Sunday (with Saturday being impacted by World Cup finals), hence leading to collections of around 10.5 crores over just the first weekend. This by itself has now ensured that the film is safe and after the first week is through, whatever comes in is added bonus.

The film's success has been beneficial for the industry as well as it has given a new hero (Jackky Bhagnani), a new director (Remo D'Souza) and a new leading lady (Puja Gupta) to be considered for years to come.
