When 'Prince' released last year, it did the unthinkable by seeing good audience footfalls for itself over the first weekend. Though it couldn't sustain at the box office and had to end it's run as a coverage affair, it helped rejuvenate Vivek Oberoi's career to some extent at the least. Now the makers of 'Prince' have reunited and announced plans for yet another outing next year.

"Yes, Vivek Oberoi would be doing a film with producer Kumar Taurani again," confirms a common friend, "Ever since 'Prince' turned into a decent success, the two were in talks to do another film again. For both of them the film was really important at that time since Kumar was looking at establishing himself as a solo producer after his professional split with Ramesh Taurani. On the other hand Vivek's career was in limbo with films like 'Mission Istanbul' hardly helping his cause. 'Prince' was a major dream for them and though they didn't make much profit from it, at least on reputation front the film helped them a great deal."

Meanwhile Vivek is now looking forward to a massive line up of films that includes 'Zila Ghaziabad', 'Krrish 2', 'Shoot Out At Wadala' and 'Masti 2' to name a few. On the other hand Kumar Taurani too is building decent hype around his Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia D'Souza starrer 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya'.

"By managing to stand on their feet, both Vivek as well Taurani built good visibility for themselves over the year gone by. Now it is time for them to reunite. In fact Vivek has principally agreed to do the film is happy with the way its script is being developed. Taurani too has gone ahead and declared that he is more than happy to be producing a film again with Vivek," the source continues.

Though around the release of 'Prince' there were talks about the film's sequel being made, there is very low probability of that happening since it would turn out to be a very costly affair due to the genre and scale involved. However in the times when more and more cost effective films are being planned, Taurani is expected to begin an altogether fresh film with Vivek.

While neither of the two was available for comments, a common friend said that there would be an official announcement around this very soon.
