After days of speculations, the Hindi remake of Tamil film ‘Ramana’ has a new development..

It was said earlier that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has bought the rights of 2002 Tamil hit film 'Ramana' directed by AR Murgadoss. Talks were that Murugadoss will also helm the Hindi version and it will have Akshay Kumar in lead. However, latest buzz is that the remake will be now directed by Telugu director Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi aka Krrish instead.

The film which has been titled as ‘Gabbar’ will be co-produced by Bhansali along with Shabina Khan - the duo which delivered a super hit with ‘Rowdy Rathore’, that also starred Akki.

Hmmm, so let’s see if the trio will hit the bull’s eye again with ‘Gabbar’...

The project is expected to go on floors by the end of this year.
