According to the sources reaching from Andhra Pradesh to Bengaluru the topnotch with four national awards in his custody Prakash Raj has given consent to play the role of 'Puttaparthi Sai Baba' who demised recently.

According to Sai devotees Satya Sai Baba is taking rebirth in 2012. Top Telugu films director Kodi Ramakrishna has titled the film as 'Sathya Saibaba'. According to Prakash Raj, it is difficult to transfer the roles of Sri Sathya Sai Baba and icon like Dr Rajakumar. Prakash Raj was apprehensive about accepting this role. He was convinced by top director Kodi Ramamakrishna.

Politician Hariram Jogaiah of Andhra Pradesh is the producer of this film.
