Actor Mohanlal, who was admitted to a private hospital in Kochi following complaints related to spondylitis, has been discharged on condition of complete rest. The actor was initially asked to undergo surgery for the problem that has been troubling him for years. But as of now, the doctors has advised him to continue on medication and rest for some time, which will lessen the painful effects.

It is learned that Mohanlal has been suffering from spondylitis for some years, but didn't agree to long term treatment plans because of his busy schedules.Now , he has completed his works of his new film 'Peruchaazhy' all set to be on theatres for this Onam.Mohanlal will resume his acting assignments only as per the suggestions of his doctors.
