After shifting its release day for more than a month, Mammootty's first release of the year 'Fireman' will be on theaters this weekend.. Planned for a Feb 19 release, the movie will have the star playing the title role.

Directed by Deepu karunakaran, the director who is in full awe about the actor says that Mammootty has done many action and dangerous sequences which an actor of his age will seldom attempt. He had worked for the movie even to late three am and was the biggest support for the director. Unni Mukundan and Nyla Usha are the two other important characters in the movie.
