Ramya Nambessan is as well known for her acting chops as she is for her considerable vocal talents. The multi-talented actress had taken up playback singing for a number of movies in various film industries with much success.

The actress-singer is now planning a single and is working on it currently. Her brother and friends too are part of the album. Not much was heard from her front this last year. But with the plan for a singles release and a few movies in her kitty like 'Lukka Chuppi' and 'Jilebi', Ramya is back with a bang in M'Twon. Meanwhile, she has been busy in the other South Indian film industries.
