Lena's portrayal of Fathima earns much applause

Actress Lena has been part of many a movies and has proved herself to be a talented actress time and again. The movie 'Alif' has Lena playing the central protagonist named Fathima. The movie depicts the life of three women from different generations in a remote Malabar village.

Lena plays a middle aged woman separated from her husband. Lena has revealed that playing Fathima was very difficult, especially taking in the character and learning the script. The unique slang of the area too was another hurdle. Director Muhammad Koya has directed this movie. Zeenath Aman, Nilamboor Ayisha and Nedumudi Venu are the other important actors in the movie.
