Mammootty and Siddique share more than just a cordial relationship. Along with the kind of respect they have for each other, the duo considers one another as brothers.

Director Siddique said in an interview that Mammootty is perhaps the only actor who has watched all his movies. And it is not just simply watching, but a very critical and close watching that Mammootty accords his movies.

The duo has worked together for two movies - 'Chronic Bachelor' and 'Hitler', both of which were super hits. They have once again joined together for 'Bhaskar the Rascal', the shooting of which is progressing. Nayanthara is the female lead.
