Ranjith Sankar as confirmed that his next movie after 'Varsham' will also be a socially relevant one. He says that he believes in telling stories which are meaningful. He finds themes right there in the society around him, which becomes part of the story.

Ranjith Sankar has always done socially relevant movies or what one can call social movies, be it 'Varsham', 'Punyalan Agarbathis', 'Passenger' etc. He is considering Prithviarj and Jayasurya for his upcoming project though nothing is yet to be finalized.
