Miss Kerala Gayathri Suresh is all set to make her debut in tinsel town. She has replaced actress Namitha Pramod in the movie 'Jamna Pyari'. Namitha was fixed to do the role, but she had to opt out since she was called to play the lead in the multi-starrer "Amar Akbar Anthony", directed by Nadir Shah, which has Prithviraj, Indrajith, Jayasurya and Asif Ali in the lead roles.
Gayathri will play the leading lady opposite Kunchako Boban in the movie. She will play a character named Parvathy who is an ordinary girl, yet bold and lovable. Gayathri is excited to have got a girl-next-door role as her debut vehicle and finds the character to be very similar to her real persona.
