Actress Maria Roy, who captured the Malayali hearts with her spirited performance in her debut movie 'Notebook' is all set to tie the wedding knot. The wedding date is the 18th of May. The event will take place at Le Meredian, Kochi.
Maria's fiance is Samith, whose parents are settled abroad. Maria's grandmother, Mary Roy is a well known women's right activist and educationalist. Renowned writer and Booker prize winner Arundathi Roy is her father's sister. Since 'Notebook', Maria has not been very active in tinsel town. She was last seen in 'Mumbai Police' and 'Hotel California'.
