Proving lucky in her second innings is Shweta Menon. The tall charming actress made her entry to Malluwood with Anashwaram, a few years ago. Unfortunately the movie failed to click. However she acted in a few films after that including Kakka Kuyil with Mohanlal. Meanwhile she packed her bags to Bollywood where she could get only little offers. She took to modeling and earned name for herself.

After a brief interval, Shweta decided to stage a comeback in Malayalam. Thankfully, with lots of heroines from Malayalam industry jumping to Tamil, she has managed to get enough offers. Her decision to re-enter has proved lucky for her.

She is now acting opposite Mohanlal again for Pardesi and her another Tantra is awaiting its release.
