The latest offering by the Grihalekshmi productions, Notebook graced the theatres today with an awesome response. The film which opened in 36 centres all around the state were greeted with full houses largely by the youths. There has not been a youth oriented film in Malayalam for the last couple of years since Four The People by Jayraj. That is why we are so much interested on the new film commented a first day film goer. The film which presents an entire casts of newcomers is directed by Roshan Andrews.

Meanwhile Palunku the Christmas offering from Mammootty will arrive at the release stations from tomorrow. The fans and supporters of the star are pinning many hopes on the film as the megastar was not able to create any big hits in the second half of the year even though four films of the star were released in the last six months.

Even the last film Karutha Pakshikal by Kamal which managed big critical applause didn't make its way to become a hit. Mammootty also has great hopes on Palunku, which is directed by Blessy whose two films earlier were mega hits.
