Mamta Mohandas, who made an illustrious and newsworthy introduction with her opening films in Malayalam, had been keeping away from Mollywood for quite some time.
She was last seen in MammoottyÂs ÂBig BÂ that too eight months back. In the mean time she appeared in a couple of Telugu films, sang in a dozen of songs in Telugu and won a film fare award as playback singer.
The Bahrain settled actress has now agreed to be the heroine in the new movie directed by veteran Fazil.
The film that will be made in Tamil and produced by ace director Priyadarshan will feature Prithviraj in the male lead. It is also heard that she had agreed to play the lead in another Malayalam flick that is planned to be shot in the United Arab Emirates.
