Major Ravi's new war saga 'Kurukshetra' will feature three war sequences. These war sequences will make up the one third of the movie, which will get its entire shoot completed within a single schedule of 35 days in the original locales.

The movie based on the real war that happened in Kargil, years ago will also feature the real war practice sessions of the Indian Army. This is for the first time, any Malayalam movie is getting permission to shoot the actual practice sessions of the Indian Army.

Produced by Damor Films in a budget of seven crores, the movie will have Kannada star Taniya singh as the heroine. Mohanlal will appear as colonel Mahadevan in the movie, who is all determined to get back the land that was acquired by Pakistani soldiers in the Kargil valley.

‘Kargil’ is major Ravi's third venture after the immensely successful 'Keerthi Chakra’ and critically acclaimed 'Mission 90 Days’.
