Actor-director Lal is all set to turn 'Mad Dad ' in the new movie titled the same. To be directed by Revathy S Varma, the movie will tell a plot about the intense relationship between a father and his only daughter and the one lad who comes up with a love relation with the girl. Archa Kavi will appear as the daughter while the crew is yet to finalise the actor who will play the role of her lover. Salimkumar, Harishree Ashokan and Shwetha Menon are also part of the cast of the movie. Unconfirmed reports also suggests about the chances of a cameo appearance of Superstar Mohanlal in the movie, which will be distributed by his 'Max Lab'.

Revathy who had earlier directed the Tami movie 'June Aaru' is also famous as the director of many popular commercials.
