Now that 'Housefull 2' is a superhit and marching towards the 100 crores mark, one can well see that John Abraham's conviction in his director Sajid Khan indeed paid off.

Smiles John, "In fact do you know what Sajid told me? He said that 'John, don't go by what critics or even friends tell you about this film and instead go to theaters and check audience reactions. Guess what, his words turned out to be prophetic because checking out audience response was an altogether different experience in case of 'Housefull 2'."

On it's release, the film was accused to be hardly 'rational' or 'sensible' by some. However a large segment of audience that just wanted it's three hours of non-stop entertainment, 'Housefull 2' ended up being a film to watch out for. A good contributor towards that was John Abraham as well, especially his one liners that brought the house down at many occasions.

Says John, "I think I shocked a lot of people with my comic timing. In fact why just other people but even myself since I am overtly critical about myself. It is all heartening though because while you expect Akshay, Riteish and Shreyas to be funny, it is an added bonus to see John's funny side."

Well, now we look forward to seeing the other side of John as well, what with his debut production 'Vicky Donor' all set to hit the screens this weekend.
