For quite some months stories in the film magazines were all centred about Ilayadhalapathy Vijay's first coming together with Mohanlal for the Tamil movie 'Jilla'. But the latest we hear is that Vijay may appear in a cameo role in a new Malayalam movie.

The talk is all about the new movie by Mammootty titled 'Gangster'. This movie by Aashiq Abu may feature Vijay in a prominent but shorter role alongside Mammootty and will also have a dance sequence featuring the star.As no denials has appeared from the popular star , chances are that 'Gangster; may become the first Mollywood movie from Vijay, who has a big fan base in Kerala.
