Manju Warrier is all set to enact the role of Rani in an Ashique Abu movie. Joining her is Rima Kallingal who will enact the role of Padmini. The movie is a female centric one and will not have a hero per se. The two heroines and their travels and lives forms the crux of the movie.
The movie is titled 'Ranipadmini'. It narrates the story of two women who meets coincidentally on a journey. The movie takes them through Kerala, Delhi and Himachal Pradesh. Shooting will be done in all these locations. Ashique Abu has decided to experiment with the travel movie genre with two female protagonists. Script is by Shyam Pushkaran.
