Mohanlal to return full amount offered for Lalisom

Mohanlal has forwarded an email to the government stating that he is deeply saddened by the kind of response that his programme 'Lalisom' received for the National Games.

He said he would return the full amount he received for the programme, amounting to Rs 1,63,77,600.

Mohanlal said that much effort was put in too initiate the band and that the government had approached him as another programme schedule did not take off. The actor found himself at the receiving end of a lot many criticisms after the programme at the National Games, kicking up quite a controversy.
