'Prabhuvinte Makkal' banned

Critically acclaimed movie 'Prabhuvinte Makkal' has been banned from YouTube, three weeks after it was uploaded. The movie is an exposition against the organised religious cults and promotes rationalism and secularism.

Kerala Freethinkers Forum had uploaded the movie on 8th January.

The movie's director Sajeevan Anthikad had received an intimation from YouTube that the movie has been flagged as it is deemed not watchable according to reviews, following which the movie was banned. The director expressed disappointment over the action and says that it is a concerted move from some communal elements.
