It was almost fifteen years back, that Mani Ratnam` came up with his epic love story 'Alaipayuthey' which featured Madhavan and Shalini in the lead roles . The movie released on an April 14 was based on a real life incident and became one of the most applauded love tales of the time.

Now as Maniratnam is coming up with another love tale, that too based on a real life incident in 'OK Kanmani', featuring Dulqar Salman and Nithya Menon,Manitratnam is looking for another April 14 to release his new movie. The Madras talkies team is reported to be planning for the same.
