Saiju Kurup plays a priest

Actor Saiju Kurup will essay the role of a priest in the upcoming release 'Lukka Chuppi'. This is the first time that he will essay the role of a priest. In the movie, he plays Fr. Xavier. About his role, Saiju says that he plays someone who was a Casanova at college, who ironically goes on to become a priest.

The movie unfolds around a reunion and while all the others bring their spouses and kids, he is the only one without a wife. Jayasurya, Joju George and Murali Gopi plays the other major characters. He says that acting in sync sound was quite challenging and had him conscious of his dialogue delivery as no dubbing will happen later on. Saiju's upcoming movies are 'KL 10 Pathu' and 'Action Hero Biju'.
