Actress Meera Jasmine is known for playing difficult roles with ease and elan.
The National Award winner whose performance in director Lingusamy's recent release Sandai Kozhi is getting good reviews, says, it is impossible for me to play routine heroine roles. I'm trying my best to play roles that are different from the usual ones.
ÂActresses don't get equal importance in Tamil. But thankfully, things are different in Malayalam.There are good directors here. There are lots of good stories here'.
However Meera is nursing a secret ambition. She wants to direct a movie.
