After a brief sabbatical, Rahman proved he is still in the hunt with a decent performance in Raajamanickyam. Now he would be playing the hero in a movie titled Hridayangamam. The film, which has script by debutant Suresh K Narayanan, is produced by Hashir and Shoji Sebastian. Meenakshi plays his ladylove in the film.

The film also has Innocent, Nedumudi Venu, Oduvil Unnikrishnan, Sona Nair, Sukumari, and others. Music is composed by Ratheesh Kamballoor.

Rahman is also busy in Tamil after Ram and has accepted to do play a pivotal role in a movie titled Thoothukudi. Happy days are back for Rahman.
