Joemon back with a Mammootty film

Joemon-the young director who had created hits like Saamrajyam and Jackpot with Mammootty, is back after a gap of three years with another Mammootty starrer. The title of the film planned for 'Onam' has not been finalized. The film is scripted by Sreenivasan who also plays the role of a doctor in the film.

Mammootty always have a special soft corner for Joemon, for his Saamrajyam was the film which created out of the state markets for Mammootty films. The director is known to present Mammootty in latest outfits and fashionable attires in his films which marked the fashion statements of the state in those yesteryears. But the last film that they joined together in 2002, 'Siddhartha' was a dismal flop.
