The next major release in Malluwood will be the Suresh Gopi starrer, 'Pathaaka'. The film planned as a June 5 release is directed by K.Madhu. The mega success of every supestar films in 2006 also add to the expectations on the film, in which Suresh Gopi is playing a character of a minister with close shades of real incidents. The March release of Suresh Gopi 'Raashtram' also presented him as a politician but only reaped low dividents from the box ofice.

The other major releases for the month will be Prajapathy on June 28 and Aswaroodan on June 30. The Dileep starrer Chess will hit the theatres on his lucky day 'July 4.'
