K.Madhu, the director of action-suspense films, best known for his three successful sequels to 'CBI Diary Kurripu', released way back in the late 1980's, is now planning the fourth one.

'I am now planning the next in the series of 'CBI Diary Kurripu' and Mammootty who played the CBI officer Sethuramaiyer will be on the outfits once again to solve another murder mystery. This is slated for early next year,' said Madhu.

' This is the only role in Malayalam which always created waves whenever it was in screens. It even created a market for Mammootty in other languages. I decided to go in for Mammootty because he has been hugely popular and has created an image for himself as a successful CBI sleuth. Youths who watched my last sequel Nerariyan CBI, watched the first 'CBI Dairy Kurripu' sitting in the lap of their parents, way back in 1986'.

K.Madhu’s Pathaaka which is presently in theatres is creating mixed responses and is expected to bring very few laurels to director and the hero.
