As Mohanlal's Christmas film of 2007 'Flash' has just started its shooting, the preparations for the Lal's Onam film of 2008 is even on. As per the present schedules, Lal will have SureshBabu's film 'Karthika Thirunaal Kaarthikeyan’ for the next Onam.

The film based on a story by Mahesh Mithra, will tell the tale of a person who has amazing abilities having survived 24 accidents including 4 air crashes and 17 lightening strikes on him.

Scripted by Dennis Joseph, the film will mark the return of its director, T S SureshBabu after a gap of a decade to filmdom. The film will also have Madhu, Sreenivasan and Nedumudi Venu. Five music directors will give music to the five songs of the film. The movie will be produced by Valiyaveetil Siraaj in the banner of Valiyaveettil films
