The new magnum opus movie getting ready to go for a thunderous release 'Raavanan' was censored with a clean ‘U’ certificate. The director Mani Ratnam, who had for the first time in recent times getting no problems from the sensors, appeared relieved.

Meanwhile, the trilingual movie which will have a world premier on the 16th of June in London, will go for a worldwide release on 18th of this month. But the movie featuring Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Vikram Priyamani and Prithviraj, may not find its way to theatres in Kerala on the same day, as the film producers association of the state are already on with their plans to hold the movie away from Kerala theatres.

An average movie lover may hardly find any real logical reasons for these kinds of boycotts as they can't realise the broad business intention of Mollywood producers, who likes to cash in the most revenues from their territories for their own flicks. Discussions between producers, distributors and exhibitors are still on about the schedules of this big release and let's hope that every good movie could find the Kerala release centres on time.
