After 'King Vs Commissioner' that is said to have got shelved due to egos of the lead stars, more and more big projects that have been announced in the past will not get into shooting sets. The latest in this line is Laljose's much expected film 'Cousins', in which he was expected to bring together Mohanlal and Prithviraj for the first time. Lal had talked a lot about 'Cousins' during filming his 'Neelathamara' and 'Elsamma Enna Aankutty' which was also announced as the first project of Superstar Mohanlal with the most creative young director of Mollywood. The scripts for the film by Iqbal Kuttipuram was already done and Laljose was getting ready for the film. But now, it remains a mystery why the movie has been called off.

Meanwhile, Laljose has already started shooting for his first set of TV advertisements with actor Nafeesa Ali. Though the director has earlier done some small advertisements, this is the first time he is taking one in a big scale.

Laljose will shortly start canning his new film with his favourite actor Dileep. The movie will have hit writer Benny P Nayarambalam, writing the screenplay. The last time when the threesome came together was for 'Chandupottu' which was a big hit and presented Dileep with one of his best roles.
