Kavya Madhavan was granted divorce by the family court in Ernakulam, yesterday. The decision was reached after Kavya and her husband, Nishal Chandra informed the court about their need to be separated by mutual consent. The couple who had signed the divorce agreement on May 26, has also agreed to withdraw the complaints filed against each others on various courts.
The couple were married in December 2008, and had called a day from cinema before leaving for Kuwait, in February 2009. Though the settlement came after much round of talks now, the couple had officially decided to separate in October last year and had filed a joint divorce petition at the court.
